49 - Bobby Field - MM - 5’11”, 180 lbs. - Junior - Farwell, TX
Proved that he has the ability to make the big play in starting role part of last season. Active in FCA work at the UofA. Would like to enter coaching after college. Education major.

59 - Mike Boschetti - LB - 6’1” , 195 lbs. - Junior - Pine Bluff
Stepped into a starting assignment at mid season of 1968. Has the quickness the Porkers were looking for and finished the season with 15 tackles and 23 assists, 1 pass play stopped and losses of 18 yeards to opposing ball carriers.

Frank Broyles - Head Coach
Directed Arkansas football for the past 11 years. More than a successful football coach, Broyles has become a statesman where college football is concerned - articulate as a speaker and influential in matters of policy. In an 11 year span, he has lifted the Porker program to one of national prominence.

85 - Bruce James - DE - 6’3”, 216 lbs. - Junior - Moss Point, MS
Moved into the regular assignment - and stayed there, finishing with 22 tackles, 13 assists, 2 pass plays stopped and losses of 31 yards to the opposition. Industrial Relations major.

33 - Bill Burnett - TB - 6’0”, 190 lbs., - Junior - Bentonville
If he continues the pace of his tremendous sophomore season, he has a chance to become the top ball carrier in UofA history. The third of three brothers to play UofA football. All SWC Academic selection. Education major.

62 - Dewitt Smith - OG - 6’3”, 209 lbs. - Senior - Forrest City
Will again provide valuable depth on offense. Been one of UofA’s top students ever since his enrollment with a near straight A average in Civil Engineering. This plus his leadership qualities and dedication make him one of Wilson Sharp’s finest citizens.

20 - Chuck Dicus - SE - 6’0”, 172 lbs. - Junior - Garland, TX
A certainty to become Arkansas’ all-time pass receiving champion. Regarded as one of the finest in the league, All American honors are within reach as a Razorback. Also and honor student and held numerous student offices. Marketing major.

Hiram McBeth - DB - 5’10”, 175 lbs. - Frosh - Pine Bluff
Coaches have high hopes for walk-on player. Tough and determined with good quickness.

18 - Jerry Moore - DB - 6’3", 198 lbs. - Junior - Benton
A real nemesis to passers as one of the league’s fine young defensive backs. Excellent size and range to work the secondary. One of Arkansas’ top students. Industrial Management major

72 - Rick Kersey - DT - 6’0”, 200 lbs. - Junior - Conway
Another of Arkansas’ min-sized defensive lineman - here’s a real dynamo on defense - one of the quickest players in the league and an aggressive tackler. Education major.

71 - Gordon McNulty - DE 6’4”, 215 lbs. - Senior - Pine Bluff
Quickly developed into one of the top defensive players in the league. Credited with 27 tackles, 30 assists, 6 passes stopped, four fumble recoveries and losses of 74 yards inflicted on the opposition. One of the most popular athletes on campus, elected President of the UofA senior class. Industrial management major.

10 - Bill Montgomery - QB - 6’1” 180 lbs. - Junior - Carrollton, TX
The performance of this talented quarterback provided an entirely new chapter in the history of Razorback football. Not only rewrote the record book in areas of passing and total offense, but displayed skill and poise in directing the Porkers offense. Pre law major.

88 - Pat Morrison - TE - 6’2”, 20 lbs. - Junior - Little Rock
Exceptional blocker. He’ll lead the way on the power sweep and has size to strengthen pass protection. Business major.

64 - Cliff Powell - LB - 6’1”, 210 lbs. - Senior - Eudora
One of the league’s finest defensive players and a unanimous All-SWC selection. Wound up leading the team in defensive statistics. Still a top student majoring in Agricultural Engineering.

25 - John Rees - FL - 6’1”, 180 lbs. - Junior - Jonesboro
A top pass receiving prospect who scheduled to be redshirted a year ago, but wound up lettering as a sophomore. Consistently impressed coaches with his speed, quickness and pass receiving abilities. Dad played on the 1931-32 Razorbacks and his mother was a UofA homecoming queen. Business major.

68 - Terry Don Phillips - DT - 6’1”, 220 lbs. - Senior - Longview, TX
Hopes are high that this outstanding tackle can return to play for the Porkers in his senior year after surgery to correct an old back injury. One way or another - if his back is strong - he’ll play and provide valuable leadership for the Porkers. Education major.
